Our attention spans grow longer
when we see something we like
and when it's just what we needed
they can absolutely spike
we may be confused at first
unsure how to begin
the space we leave for new things
is often very thin
but in time the heart and mind
expand to let it in
and what was once an unknown
is welcomed as our kin
