If he had the chance, would the surfer have gone into the wind?
He doesn't need any protection, because he's not afraid of death.
It's just what comes naturally.
And if that surfer fell in love, would he choose love before surfing?
He might follow his feelings, and not his reasoning,
which, to him, would be the reasonable thing to do.
And if that surfer followed his love, would he be giving up his life for her?
Not necessarily.
Another person is something outside of you, as is a surf board.
But life springs from within.
