pride and shame
Some people have no shame in their pride;
others take pride in their shame.
It can be quite difficult to not take a side,
which you'd know if you've ever tried,
but once you truly love yourself,
the two become one and the same,
and you'll know you're just who you are,
and take both the credit and the blame.
