Between the Skyscrapers

kid logicus

Kid Logicus had wings of destiny.
Kid Logicus had arrows of fate.
Kid Logicus was three feet from head to toe.

From his homeland he journeyed, until he had seen enough.
He flew on top of a mountain high, and there devoured his gatherings.
He ate religion for an appetizer, government and culture for the main course, and science for dessert.
He was bored, and his net was empty.

He went out for a second time, but his wings had grown tired, and he began to walk.

In a building he learned of truth, on a bridge he learned of nature, and in the presence of a girl he learned of desire.
He nibbled here and there.

By accident, he shot a swan with one of his arrows.
He was heartbroken, and disappeared into a dark cave for many years.

When he emerged, he was no longer hungry, and he left his arrows behind.

He walked now; his wings were only used when necessary.

He walked into a town.
He said “Here or there, it doesn't matter.”
He said “With or without, it doesn't matter.”
He said “Because of this or because of that, it doesn't matter.”

The people thought this was good, and he fell into a deep sleep.
