joey and me
In the first grade I noticed differences
between Joey and me.
Joey was on my soccer team.
He was probably the best player.
He had a strong looking jaw, like a boxer.
I wondered why my jaw wasn't like his,
and why I was so much worse at soccer.
This is when I was in the first grade.
