You want everything to be perfect
you've envisioned it to a degree
but just as you can't be controlled
you likewise can't control me
perfection in the mingling of minds
only occasionally comes close
while to others we are so opposed
we must regulate our dose
we are so complex! and yet so small
drops in the ocean of eternity
sloshing in all directions but
weighed down by a singular gravity:
the need to feel fulfilled and safe
to know what's what and who's who
but we have so many sides and layers
it can be hard to know what's true
so use caution and take care
anyone could be friend or foe
but deep inside we're all afraid
and that's all you need to know
